The application to spectrometry of Fourier trans form procedures together with advances in computer technology require updating of the fourth edition of this textbook. Yet, the format evolved in the first edi tion (1963) remains intact: discussions of mass, in frared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and ultraviolet spectrometry, followed by problems that involve translations of sets of spectra into chemical structures. - Furye transform protseduralarini spektrometriyaga qo'llash va kompyuter texnologiyalaridagi yutuqlar ushbu darslikning to'rtinchi nashrini yangilashni talab qiladi.
